situation Overview

This position ensures the efficient and accurate entering of vehicle floor prices, issues gate releases for paid vehicles, and maintains and updates the current dealer database and files.

What are the requirements for this job?

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

1 year of clerical and/or customer service experience required. Auction experience strongly preferred.

Effective communication skills, problem solving and customer service skills required.

Good computer software skills required including Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, 
Excel, and Outlook.11 Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

Experience with Auction Edge/ASI auction systems a plus.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

1. Efficiently entering vehicle information, as provided by sellers, into the auction system. 2.Entering accurate floor prices for all vehicles.
3. Maintaining appropriate dealer files and updating as needed.
4. Initiating phone calls to customers who have won the bid on a vehicle but not yet paid for it.
5. Managing flooring financing by compiling reports and invoices and mailing to each flooring company weekly.
6. Entering vehicle inspection and announcement information into the auction system (ASI).
Working the counter on sale day, registering new dealers, printing bidder badges and answering customer questions.
7. Accepting credit card payments for miscellaneous fees such as late fees, buy fees, border permits or storage fees.
8. Printing out gate release passes for vehicles that have been sold and paid for.
9. Managing a spreadsheet to track bills of lading and invoices for each vehicle.
10. Providing back up for the Dealer Registration Associate on an “as needed” basis.
