             POSITION SUMMARY

The Technical Assistant position is an entry-level position in the claims department that supports the unit with clerical work and data entry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)

environment up new claims, entering notes
Opening, stamping, indexing and scanning incoming mail, UPS and FedEx.
Paying bills.
Delivery of faxes via email.
Assigning scanned documents to correct file.
Handling, distribution of emails.
Provide customer service and support to other departments.
Backup for receptionist when needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

                   QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: A minimum of high school diploma is required.

SKILLS: Able to multi-task; establish priorities; complete task assignment timely and comply with process requirements; excellent verbal and written communication skill; proficiency with MS Word and Excel; computer experience with related claims and business software.
